We have now had two weeks of experiencing english teaching. We both have done our first lessons at the boys hostel - Which was scary but such an adrenaline kick!
A typical school day in Thailand.... We arrived and Students (Year 4, 5 and 6) were walking around with 12inch machetes!!! The school is going camping today - So the children were asked to make things they would need e.g. tents, dish holders, shoe racks etc. They were not supervised, but amazingly they worked co-operatively, diligently and created some awesome camping equipment. English health and safety companies would have had a field day - but would have stopped lots of fun and creativity!
